Are you looking to easily create textured, weatherworn, rustic French farmhouse chic paint effects, or are you just simply looking for a dead flat finish to your paintwork?

Fresco is a powdered texture additive that makes it easy to achieve a chalky, rustic, sea-swept finish for your favourite Fusion Mineral paint.

Fresco is a fantastic additive that allows you to create rustic paint effects with ease and the great thing is you don't need to add a protective finish to your paint, however, Fresco does give you a great foundation for adding decorative waxes and glazes to enhance that authentic aged foundation. It’s also fantastic for wet distressing especially if you apply coats of contrasting colours.

Fresco is certainly a product to have some fun with and get those creative juices flowing.

Ways to use

There are two great ways to use Fusion Fresco.

To create a grungy textured finish, simply decant your chosen Fuson paint colour and add as much or as little of the Fresco powder as you like, depending on the look you want to achieve. Mix the powder and the paint then apply it to your project. You can paint it on or add more texture by stippling it with a brush or sponge or applying it with an artist's spatula. Top Tip: Use an inexpensive chip brush with natural hair for this method.

To achieve a dead-flat finish mix a couple of scoops of the Fusion Fresco powder with cold water then add it into a 500 ml pot of your Fusion Mineral Paint and mix it thoroughly. Then simply paint on in smooth strokes, using a natural bristle brush to add a little more texture, or a synthetic bristle brush for a smoother finish.

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays), or before 10am on Saturdays, will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.
