This is a lovely little regency style round table with a pie crust edge top, with a single central leg and a tripod base.
Before painting this piece has been sanded to remove the old varnish and thoroughly cleaned.
The table is painted in a beautiful shade of Blue called Vanity Blue. I have painted the edge of the table top and details on the central pedestal in Copper Club metallic, a highly pigmented vibrant copper which really complements the blue. To the top I have applied a Re-Design with Prima transfer called ‘Ruby Rose’. I have then hand stencilled peony heads and leaves in Copper Club and Rusty. To complete I have applied two coats of water-based varnish for added protection

This is a vintage piece that has had a long previous life. It is also hand-painted and hand-finished. In my opinion, any minor imperfections that may be present as a result of both of these factors contribute to its character, charm and history.
