The Old Dairy, Chevin Green Farm, near Belper

My studio is at Unit 1 The Old Dairy, a cosy space set in a beautiful rural location near the pretty town of Belper in Derbyshire.

Located on a former working farm and nestled down a quaint country lane, The Old Dairy is just a 20-minute drive from the city of Derby and is just across the river Derwent from the market town of Belper.

How to find me

I strongly advise that you put "Godfrey’s Ear" into Google Maps as your destination, and this will bring you straight to the studio.

If you enter the postcode, it may take you to the wrong property on Chevin Road, but you won't be far away.

When you are in the right place you will see the grey signs saying Chevin Green Farm.

As you enter the farm the first parking area that you reach includes visitor parking. Please do be respectful of our neighbours and don't park in spaces that have business or house names.

You can then walk round (please don't go through the wide closed gate) into the main courtyard and you will see my A-board.

When I'm open

I'm open on weekdays (with the exception of Thursdays) between 11 am and 3.30 pm, and on Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm.

The nature of a small business though is that I can't guarantee to always be there, as I sometimes have to run errands, do quotes or nip to the post office. I therefore strongly recommend that you call ahead to make sure I'll be in.

I also offer flexible opening times. If you can’t get to me during my standard opening hours, give me a call and I'll be more than happy whenever possible to arrange a convenient time to pop along and meet you at the studio. I have found this arrangement has been really popular with my customers.
