Restyle your furniture

Do you have a piece of furniture that needs a new breath of life, or perhaps an heirloom piece that you are keeping for sentimental reasons but that doesn’t really fit with your décor?

I would love to restyle your furniture!

Sometimes you can easily fall out of love with a piece of furniture when it starts to look a bit tired and dated. It can be difficult to imagine what it could look like once it has been restyled, but imagine a face with and without makeup: it’s the same face just more beautiful!

Vintage furniture, like a face, has good structure, so it is perfect to work with. My customers often find it difficult to visualise how their furniture can look after its makeover! I want to give you some idea of the process of having your furniture restyled by me so you can see the journey we will take together so that you will fall in love with your ‘old’ furniture for many years to come.

Here is a one journey for a tired old piece of furniture that was no longer loved.

This piece was restyled for an interior design show. Here in this example you can see the steps I take to prepare any piece of furniture before painting, along with the visualisation in the form of a mood board to create the restyled look.
