Are you looking for a paint to achieve a look of timeless elegance or one to naturally replicate the patina created through the effects of time and the elements? Then look no further than the versatility Fusion Milk Paint can offer you.
Fusion Milk Paint is perfected around an ancient and organic formula, then injected with a twist of a modern-day colour palette.
Simply mix with water and paint. It’s quicker than preparing a milkshake for breakfast and the results add beauty and timeless longevity to any project. Fusion’s Milk Paint empowers you to be an artist with ease.
Not only is it easy to use, but it’s environmentally friendly too, helping you bring your vision to life while making a responsible choice for the planet.
Top Tip: You can also custom-mix your milk paint colours. Experiment with different ratios of colours, mix and match. Express your creativity, or just add Hotel Robe, the whitest in this range, to lighten any of Fusion's Milk Paint colours. The possibilities you can achieve are truly endless.
How to use Fusion Milk Paint – just 3 easy steps
- Mix the Milk Paint with water — one part powder to one part water — and stir it for one minute.
Top Tip: Mix enough paint for your project, and store the surplus in an airtight container.
- Using any type of brush, apply the Milk Paint to your surface. Each coat dries within 15–30 minutes and you can then apply another coat if desired.
- Apply a top coat to seal your Milk Paint. This will also enhance the beauty of the colour. You can also use Fusion waxes or hemp oil if you prefer.
Top Tip: If you apply to a porous surface such as wood, the Milk Paint absorbs into the grain resulting in a beautiful, natural breathable coating that will not chip or peel. If you want to apply Milk Paint over a shiny, non-porous, previously painted or varnished surface, I recommend that you first apply a coat of Fusion Ultra Grip to the areas where you require good adhesion.

Clean lines and a contemporary look.
Make sure your surface is smooth, apply your Milk Paint, and once dry sand to a super smooth brush mark-free finish with 400 grit sandpaper.
Crackle finish.
Just mix your Milk Paint to a slightly thicker consistency and use a hair dryer to quickly dry it, and cracks will appear before your very eyes. This look works especially well if using two contrasting colours as the cracks will reveal the colour underneath.
Naturally distressed.
Layer colour over colour and gently sand back once dry.
Chippy chic.
Apply clear wax or rub a Fusion Beeswax Bar onto strategically selected areas where you don’t want the paint to adhere. Then simply paint over the whole area and the paint will naturally lift and flake off from the treated parts as it dries.
