Alchemy begins with the A of Acrylic Resin (Fusion Mineral Paint's premium ingredient), providing high-performance with exceptional adhesion, ensuring your pieces will stand the test of time.

The L of Limestone (a key ingredient in Fusion Milk Paint) gives Alchemy its durability.

Finally, the C of Chalk provides the flat finish and flexibility/blendability that chalk-paint lovers appreciate, allowing for easy distressing, layering, and creative expression

Stronger than traditional chalk paints using Fusion's high quality resin.

Deep, rich pigmentation. Vibrant colours with incredible depth.

Smooth, forgiving application with minimal brush lines. Easy for beginners, versatile for pros.

Customizable finishes. Slightly more porous than Fusion, meaning a top coat is recommended for high-traffic areas but optional for other surfaces. However, applying waxes is easier than ever before!

Application

Clean your surface to remove dust, grease, or residues.

Apply 1-2 coats of Alchemy. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. Some vibrant hues will need additional coats for full coverage.

To achieve authentic texture and natural blending, apply with a brush with natural bristles.

How to finish

A top coat is recommended in areas prone to water or heavy use to prevent marking.

Tough Coat for a smooth, durable finish in high-traffic areas
Furniture Wax or tinted waxes for a subtle sheen and added dimension

However, for more decorative uses you can choose to leave it bare to maintain its ultra-flat finish.

For exterior use, a waterproof exterior top coat is required.

Paint shop shipping FAQ

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays), or before 10am on Saturdays, will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.

Whilst I make every effort to spot obvious errors, I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels if you have not provided me with complete, correct address information.
