Are you looking to add some age, grunge, accent, or patina to your painted furniture? Or are you looking for an alternative to using decorative waxes?

Fusion Mineral Paint glaze is available in both clear and brown (antiquing), giving you a soft matt finish when dry, or add a metallic for some shimmer.

The antiquing glaze is a rich brown tinted formula and is perfect for creating an authentic antique and timeworn look for your walls, painted furniture, home decor, and craft projects. It's great for applying to carvings, mouldings, corners, and crevices where dust and dirt would naturally accumulate over the years.

The clear glaze can be custom tinted: simply mix it with any of your favourite Fusion Mineral paints or metallics. This gives you the versatility to create a look to age, complement, or add sparkle to your project.

Application

Fusion Glaze delivers the performance of a professional finish that everyone can achieve. They are really easy to apply with a brush, sponge, or a lint-free cloth.

They have a long open time, which means they won't dry quickly while you are working with them, allowing you plenty of time to move the glaze around on your piece and get the look you want without the fear of it drying mid-process.

Just apply liberally and wipe off the excess with a dry or damp lint-free cloth.

I would recommend a topcoat of Fusion's Tough Coat to protect your glaze on high-traffic items.

Top tips

Make sure your paint is thoroughly dry before applying Fusion Glaze.
Don't apply too much pressure when applying the glaze: it has a high water content and may react with the paint layer underneath.
Apply the glaze on a test piece to make sure you achieve your desired effect.

Paint shop shipping FAQ

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays) will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address and other contact details on your order are correct. Whilst I make every effort to spot obvious errors, I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels if you have not provided me with complete, correct address information.

What if I have special requirements?

If you need your order more quickly, or have any other special requirements, please do let me know. For example, you may have missed the cutoff for same-day dispatch, or you may want your order to be tracked, or signed for, or to be guaranteed next day.
