Description

Are you looking to apply raised stencils or add texture to your furniture painting or craft project?

Fusion’s Smooth Embossing Paste is fantastic for applying raised stencils and creating texture.

It dries to a rock-hard translucent pearl finish, which can then be painted, glazed, or waxed. Or you can custom-colour the wet embossing paste by adding your favourite shade of Fusion Mineral Paint or metallic.

This can be applied to most surfaces, just ensure your substrate is free of loose debris, wax, or grease.

How to use

Apply directly onto your project with a brush, sponge, artist trowel, or spatula to create texture, apply through a stencil or apply it with a wet paintbrush to just give your piece a smooth frosty finish or apply in a stippled motion for a textured dimensional finish.

The embossing paste has a long open time which means you have plenty of time to work with the product before it dries.

Allow the paste to dry for 2-12 hours depending on the thickness of your design. Once it is fully dry you can apply a topcoat or accent if desired. The full cure time, (fully dried, at its optimum durability) is 21 days.

Once dry you can top coat or add an accent such as an ageing wax or glaze, or leave it as it is.

Clean all tools with warm soapy water as soon as you have finished using them because the embossing paste will dry to a rock-hard finish.

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays), or before 10am on Saturdays, will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.
