High adhesion water-based primer, enabling paint adhesion to shiny surfaces or complex details where scuff sanding is impossible
Fusion Ultra Grip is a water-based emulsion that adheres to those tricky-to-stick-to surfaces.
You can use Ultra Grip on these difficult surfaces with the confidence to know your newly painted surface won't peel, chip or scratch off.
Fusion's Ultra Grip is milky when wet but will dry to a clear and translucent finish.
Applying a smooth coat of Fusion Ultra Grip creates tiny, invisible to the naked eye, peaks and valleys in your smooth surface, so it creates a ‘key’ for the paint to adhere to.
For optimum adhesion, clean the surface with Fusion TSP and lightly sand if this is possible to roughen the surface.
Because Ultra Grip is so strong, it can hold more texture. So, if you want to achieve a more rustic finish on your piece, apply the Ultra Grip with a brush as a thick base layer – this is a great look and a fantastic method for moving away from slick to hand finished!
If you want to achieve a smooth finish apply one very thin coat of Ultra Grip, ideally with a microfiber roller.
In order for it to work its magic allow the Ultra Grip to dry and cure properly for 12 hours before applying your chosen paint colour. I promise the wait is definitely worth the results you can achieve from this product.
Just wash brushes and rollers in warm water.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.
'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail second class. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.
'Express delivery' means Royal Mail first class. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.
The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.
Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.
If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.
You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.
If you need your order more quickly, or have any other special requirements, please do let me know. For example, you may have missed the cutoff for same-day dispatch, or you may want your order to be tracked, or signed for, or to be guaranteed next day.
