This elegant little desk is made of solid wood. It has been hand painted in Annabell Duke Mineral Paint in Period Sage. I have applied a vintage lace stencil to the top and to the drawer front, painted in Annabell Duke Empire Green. I have fitted a new copper cup handle and, to complement this, I have added copper metallic detailing to the bottom of the legs, the edge of the drawer front and to the top edge of the desk. To the front aspect I have added WoodUbend mouldings which I have accentuated in the copper metallic paint.
This is such versatile piece, it can be used as a desk, as a dressing table, or as a console or hallway table. A single drawer provides useful storage. The inside of the drawer has been painted in Period Sage and the bottom lined with a colourful and cheerful Lemur-patterned wallpaper.

This is a vintage piece that has had a long previous life. It is also hand-painted and hand-finished. In my opinion, any minor imperfections that may be present as a result of both of these factors contribute to its character, charm and history.
