A really lovely solid oak dining table dating from 1930s-1940s. All of the dark varnish has been removed and the top has been sanded to reveal three planks of beautifully-grained light-coloured oak. Two coats of clear matt varnish have been applied to both protect and enhance this beautiful wood. The base has been painted in a custom mix of Rebel Grey/Wattle and Daub mineral paints by Annabell Duke.
A really handy-sized table that would look great in either a dining room or a kitchen. This really has been such a transformation. This table has gone from dark and dated to light and contemporary, perfect for today’s homes.

This is a vintage piece that has had a long previous life. It is also hand-painted and hand-finished. In my opinion, any minor imperfections that may be present as a result of both of these factors contribute to its character, charm and history.
