A sweet mid-century chest of drawers, with that in-demand on-trend retro styling.

The main part is hand-painted in the colour Charcoal, a stunning grey/black. In keeping with the retro vibe, the legs have been painted in Petrol Blue, with the base frame and upstand in Fern Green. We chose this colour palette to complement the three drawers, which have been decoupaged in a modern wallpaper with a retro vibe.
We have cleaned and sprayed the original hardware, the drop handles in gold and the backplates in turquoise. The gold theme is repeated at the base of the legs to add that extra elegant touch, balance and detail.
The insides of the drawers, front edges and dovetails have also been painted in Charcoal. The drawer bases have been decoupaged to match the drawer fronts.
All paintwork and decoupage has been sealed with three coats of Polyvine Satin finish varnish.
Paints used: Annabell Duke Mineral Paint in Charcoal and Petrol Blue, Autentico Versante Matt in Fern, Fleur Chalky Look in Istanbul Interior, Montana Gold in Gold.
All components are original, the drawers are free running.

We pay great attention to our pieces, but wish to point out this is a vintage piece that has had a long previous life. It is also hand-painted and hand-finished. In our opinion, any minor imperfections that may be present as a result of both of these factors contribute to its character, charm and history.
