Stamperia A4 rice paper for decoupage, one sheet, 21 x 29.7 cm. Alice Wall Texture: faded pink, blue and gold florals on cracked, peeling vintage wallpaper, over a faint polka dot.

Quantity

Description

Stamperia's rice paper is fine and almost translucent, so it settles into the surface beneath it. Tear the edges and they disappear, leaving the design looking part of the piece rather than stuck on top.

Use a whole sheet to cover an A4 area, or tear out a single motif for a box lid, a drawer front, a frame or a card. It works just as well for mixed media, journaling and collage.

Key facts

Maker: Stamperia, Italy
Size: A4, 21 x 29.7 cm
In the pack: One sheet
Paper: Rice paper, 28 gsm, thin and almost translucent
Surfaces: Wood, painted furniture, canvas, glass and card
Apply with: Decoupage glue or medium
Seal with: Water-based varnish, if the piece needs protection

How to use

Brush decoupage glue onto the surface.
Lay the whole sheet down to cover an A4 area, or tear out the part you want. Tear rather than cut, so the edges blend in.
Press it gently into place.
Leave it to dry fully, then add a coat of water-based varnish if the piece needs protection.

Paint shop shipping FAQ

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays) will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.
