What we cover on the day
During this workshop, you will learn how to correctly prepare a piece of furniture ready for painting and how to apply the paint to achieve a smooth, professional, and durable finish.
You will come away with the skills and knowledge to continue your furniture painting journey with confidence.
Choose from our favourite mineral paints on the day, or if you have a specific colour in mind in our range, please let me know in advance so I can make sure I have it available for you on the day.
What furniture should you bring?
We need to keep it small, so a suitable piece of furniture would be a coffee table, kitchen chair, or bedside cabinet. Nothing any bigger as you won’t have enough time to complete it on the day.
If you are unsure if your piece of furniture is suitable, just send me a photo beforehand.
Make sure your item is in good repair. Things to look out for are:
- Loose joints or large holes
- Must be free of woodworm
- Not already painted or waxed
No upholstered items, please (unless it’s a pop-out seat or is easily detachable).
Additional information
You should bring a blanket to protect your newly painted furniture for its journey home.
This class is also available on a 1-2-1 basis at a cost of £195 — please contact me for details.
