What are Guild Lane gilding enamels?

They are an innovative and highly reflective self-levelling enamel paint. They have a semi-viscous flow with exceptional coverage that produces a rich, lustrous, tarnish-free finish.

Guild Lane gilding enamels are beautiful highly pigmented and vibrant paints giving you a fantastic faff-free alternative to traditional gilding techniques.

Guild Lane GILD comes in 5 gorgeous water-based shades plus 1 oil-based shade, Chrome. The Super GILD range offers a further 3 colours.

No need to use size, leaf and varnish to add opulence, these gilding enamels give you a flawless finish and exceptional results using just one fabulous product, saving you both time and money, and have a greater vibrancy than you can find in typical metallic paints.

Suitable for indoor use on non-porous surfaces including wood, glass, metal, ceramic and plastic. Perfect for gilding frames, furniture detailing such as carvings and mouldings, painting figurines and scale models, signs, holiday crafts, and much more!

TOP TIP! I love to apply them onto furniture through a stencil: it’s much easier than using metallic leaf sheets and offers a versatile alternative to single-use metallic leaf transfers.

GILD Silver is bright and elegant with shimmering white highlights and pale grey shadows resembling freshly polished metal

GILD Bronze is a warm, dark blonde hue with golden highlights resembling a natural surface of bronze metal before the patina

GILD Rose Gold is a sophisticated combination of gold, copper, and silver with brilliant blush highlights and velvety-salmon undertones

GILD Champagne is a silky, neutral beige with warm sandy undertones that sits between gold and silver and glistens like soft champagne bubbles

GILD Copper is a warm amber with pinkish-orange undertones that harness the vibrancy of pure, freshly exposed copper

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays), or before 10am on Saturdays, will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.
