Paint shop shipping FAQ

What delivery services do you use?

We only ship within the United Kingdom.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.

'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 48. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.

'Express delivery' means Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.

How much will delivery cost?

The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.

Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays) will be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.

You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.

How are orders packaged?

Small, non-fragile items such as roller sleeves or paintbrushes are generally sent in padded envelopes.

Other items are carefully packed in sturdy cardboard boxes and clearly marked as fragile.

I take great pride in the quality of our packing, and so far (touch wood!) I have had no instances where orders have suffered damage in transit.

It’s wonderful. Very gold colour and adds that bling. Easy to wash out from a brush with hot soapy water. I have really enjoyed adding the gold to my gouache paintings

Best gilding paint I’ve used. Usually need only one coat .
Very smooth , easy to clean brushes.
Brilliant

Really high quality, very pigmented. I used it to paint details onto polymer clay sculptures and it looks really professional

Hello
I am really pleased with my pot of gold paint and would be happy to order another pot of the same. The colour of gold is perfect for my picture framing requirements.
Thank you
Roddy

GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT

Great product

👍

Excellent service and best gilding paint I have ever used

Great product, delivered a day early, so I was very happy. Thank you!

amazing product.
Super quality.

Have used it before .....its fab !

Absolutely marvellous product when it comes to re gilding faded metalwork. I used this product with extreme ease with one of the recommended brush and it has been a dream to cover intricate areas of an antique clock decorative work. The Super GILD-Gold is instantly giving a superb finish dry to touch within minutes .What I found useful is the easiness to clean brush or overspill with plain cold water , a touch of washing liquid makes it certain to keep your brush in tip top condition. Overall I can highly recommend the use of this product and thanks again for the excellent delivery and meticulous packaging in which the product was received.

Brilliant gold paint exactly what I was looking for, will be buying more!

Superb product, colour is perfect. May I suggest a ball-bearing in the jar to aid mixing as I use it for small lettering on honours boards and have to keep shaking the bottle to ensure it is continually mixed.

Amazing quality paint. Great saturation and coverage.

I have not used the paint at present certainly the Gold looks to be the correct colour

The product looks good but using a brush it is difficult to get a good finish, spraying would have been better.

This is my second purchase from this shop, and both times i have been extremely happy with the quick delivery and safe wrapping of the products.
Thanks!
