What is Alchemy?

Alchemy begins with the A of Acrylic Resin (Fusion Mineral Paint's premium ingredient), providing high-performance with exceptional adhesion, ensuring your pieces will stand the test of time.

The L of Limestone (a key ingredient in Fusion Milk Paint) gives Alchemy its durability.

Finally, the C of Chalk provides the flat finish and flexibility/blendability that chalk-paint lovers appreciate, allowing for easy distressing, layering, and creative expression

• Stronger than traditional chalk paints using Fusion's high quality resin.
• Deep, rich pigmentation. Vibrant colours with incredible depth.
• Smooth, forgiving application with minimal brush lines. Easy for beginners, versatile for pros.
• Greater creative flexibility than Fusion. Ideal for blending, distressing, and layering to achieve a variety of looks.
• Customizable finishes. Slightly more porous than Fusion, meaning a top coat is recommended for high-traffic areas but optional for other surfaces. However, applying waxes is easier than ever before!

Application

Clean your surface to remove dust, grease, or residues.

Apply 1-2 coats of Alchemy. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. Some vibrant hues will need additional coats for full coverage.

To achieve authentic texture and natural blending, apply with a brush with natural bristles.

How to finish Alchemy

A top coat is recommended in areas prone to water or heavy use to prevent marking.

• Tough Coat for a smooth, durable finish in high-traffic areas
• Furniture Wax or tinted waxes for a subtle sheen and added dimension

However, for more decorative uses you can choose to leave it bare to maintain its ultra-flat finish.

For exterior use, a waterproof exterior top coat is required.
