Easy to use all-in-one product that conditions, stains, and protects wood, or can be used to glaze painted surfaces. 6 colours. 237ml tins.
Fusion Stain and Finishing Oil (SFO) is an all-in-one product. It penetrates and conditions the wood, it stains the wood, and it protects against water, stains and scratches offering exceptional durability in high-traffic areas such as table tops, kitchen cabinets, and even flooring.
Available in 6 colours:
Fusion Stain and Finishing Oil can be used on new and stripped wood surfaces, painted surfaces, and over your favourite Fusion Mineral Paint to add extra protection and sheen.
Applying a coat of Natural SFO will increase the sheen and durability of the wood without intensifying or changing the colour.
Use the Natural colour over Fusion Mineral Paint™ colours to increase the sheen and offer superior durability. Or, to create a glaze effect, apply one of the pigmented colours and wipe off immediately (as unlike over wood it won't soak into the surface).
Fusion SFO is highly concentrated in pigment, so a little really does go a long way. This 237ml container will cover the same area as 1 litre of comparable stains.
Please note that Fusion (SFO) is an oil-based product and may yellow over time. If you want to add a top coat to white and light paint, I would recommend Fusion Tough Coat, which is a water-based product, as an alternative.
Fusion™ is family-owned and operated – proudly so! Their parent company, Homestead House Paint Co., has been in business since 1989.
Fusion Mineral Paint™ is a labour of love for founder Jennylyn Pringle. She has generations of paint expertise behind her, learned from the family business.
Forever inspired by the power of a fresh coat of paint, Jennylyn created Fusion™ as the ultimate go-to for fellow DIY enthusiasts round the world.
Fusion Mineral Paint™ was founded and is based in Toronto, Canada, and each pot of colour is hand-poured and labelled with love.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail.
'Standard delivery' means Royal Mail second class. The expected delivery timescale for this is 2–3 working days.
'Express delivery' means Royal Mail first class. This is expected to arrive in 1–2 working days.
The charge for delivery is based on the service (standard or express) and on the weight of the parcel.
Delivery starts at £3.95 for standard, and £4.95 for express. As a guide, if your order is heavier than two 500ml pots of paint then it will probably move up to a higher price band.
Orders placed before midday on weekdays (other than bank holidays), or before 10am on Saturdays, will be dispatched on the same day.
Orders received after that will be dispatched the next working day.
If, for any reason, this will not be possible, this will be clearly shown in a banner message at the top of the site.
You will notified by email when your order has been dispatched.
If you need your order more quickly, or have any other special requirements, please do let me know. For example, you may have missed the cutoff for same-day dispatch, or you may want your order to be tracked, or signed for, or to be guaranteed next day.
The best thing is to telephone me. The number is at the bottom of the page. If I am unable to take the call, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I can.
If I can help, I will!
